New 4-Country Global Data Exchange Emerges at Groundbreaking International MLS Forum Event
Five leading real estate organizations from four countries – Stellar MLS (USA), Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB, Canada), Syndicat National des Professionnels Immobiliers (SNPI) (France), Madhmoun MLS (United Arab Emirates) and San Diego MLS (USA) – announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch Global Data Exchange (GDX), a RESO standards-based framework for sharing public-facing listing information across borders using the RESO Web API.
The goal of GDX is to make it easier for professionals and consumers to explore international opportunities, while respecting each market’s rules, licensing and data protections.
Under the MOU, the organizations will grant controlled peer access to security-protected, standardized public listing data through RESO Web API feeds under existing publisher terms, with a clear purpose of use. Members will access a merged international feed for discovery within their existing tools, with governance provided by an oversight committee representing all founding parties. New parties may be invited into the agreement by a two-thirds vote of the founding parties.
NAR-INDIA Appoints Stellar MLS’s UCO as Exclusive MLS Implementer

Additionally, the group was directed to review and comment on the DOM Increment Proposal and PackageSale Resource Proposal from the Bulk Sale Subgroup. | NOTES
Duplication Subgroup | Thursday, August 28, 2025

The group continued its discussion on the potential need for fields to communicate AI permissions on listings, including whether listings can be used for training models or enhanced with AI tools. The need for examples of disaster mitigation fields was also discussed. Both of these items will be mentioned at the upcoming RESO 2025 Fall Conference, with the goal of gathering implementation examples and other feedback. The group is working on determining if sharing offer data between different OM systems is feasible and beneficial.
