Madeline Salzman is a Residential Energy Fellow in the U.S. Department of Energy (U.S. DOE)’s Building Technologies Office (BTO). Madeline focuses on U.S. DOE’s Home Energy Score™, a tool to bring accurate home energy information at low cost to American families and the real estate market. She also supports BTO with analysis on workforce training, STEM education, and grid-interactive efficient buildings. Prior to joining U.S. DOE, Madeline worked on residential energy issues in India, Arkansas, and Missouri. Madeline holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service.
