John De Souza (Pronounced: Deh-sue-zah)
John De Souza is President of Cressy & Everett Real Estate, a 73-year-old independent, residential firm of 200 associates serving Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan. He is passionate about finding new ways for REALTORSⓇ to deliver value and provide meaningful consumer experiences.
De Souza entered real estate after a successful career in technology and management consulting. He was also on faculty at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, where he taught courses on applied technology. John has been quoted in USA Today, Realtor Magazine, as well as presented at events including Inman Connect, BarCamps, and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World conferences.
John serves his fellow REALTORSⓇ through his role as 2018 President for the Indiana Association of REALTORSⓇ, State Realtor PAC Trustee, Director of the Indiana Regional MLS (IRMLS) and previous roles on various MLS, associations, and committees. He also contributes as an advisor to several technology firms.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, John has a degree in Management from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Technology Management.
John enjoys long-distance cycling, and photography. He gives back to the community by volunteering at his church, and by serving as a mentor to Notre Dame students.
