Recent and Upcoming RESO Workgroup Meetings
Members can review workgroup agendas in the RESO Workgroup Collaboration System. | JOIN A WORKGROUP
Transport Workgroup | June 2, 2015
The group approved the policy changes recommended from the Data Dictionary Policy Subgroup: no breaking changes will be introduced in minor versions of the dictionary and replacing current elements with new ones is a breaking change. See: Transport versioning changes. RESO will always certify on the latest minor version of any active major branch of the Data Dictionary and other specifications. The workgroup also reviewed the changes to data elements and the specification for the upcoming Data Dictionary 2.1 release. | NOTES
Research & Development Workgroup | June 5, 2025
The group went over the RESO Listing Advertisement Proposal that is being discussed by the ActivityPub Subgroup. The proposal would help improve interoperability between systems and actors involved in transactions during a listing’s lifecycle. The ActivityPub Subgroup is also determining how to implement a ULI (Unique Licensee Identifier) Resolution Protocol for the RESO ULI. Additionally, potential new AI permission fields for the Data Dictionary were discussed. | NOTES
ActivityPub Subgroup | June 6, 2025
The group discussed the ULI Resolution Protocol forum post and supported only creating ULIs when a set number of confirmations have been met, rather than creating them upfront and potentially having to change them. Other discussions included a consensus threshold needed from ULI resolvers for creating ULIs and the authentication and authorization method for the ULI network. | NOTES
Bulk Sale Subgroup | June 11, 2025
The group reviewed new documents for the Package Sale Proposal, including a PackageSale/Property Resource Diagram and a PackageSale Resource Proposal Spreadsheet, which shows the data elements in the Data Dictionary format with definitions, data types and other attributes. The group voted to approve the proposal, and it will be sent to the Transport Workgroup for feedback and then the Data Dictionary Workgroup for a vote. | NOTES
Fast Track Subgroup | June 17, 2025
The group approved a list of updated mapping suggestions after a review and discussion of the Fast Track Suggestions Review sheet. Additionally, research items were identified to find common usage of communicating the source of utilities (City, Town, County, etc.). | NOTES
Duplication Subgroup | June 25, 2025
The group reviewed the items on the Data Dictionary Duplication sheet, which shows potential duplicate data elements in the Data Dictionary. New, more detailed metrics were added to the sheet since the last meeting. Duplicate Types were assigned to several lookups and potential recommendations for the Data Dictionary Workgroup were identified and discussed. | NOTES
Data Dictionary Workgroup | June 26, 2025
The group reviewed the Data Dictionary 2.1 draft, including the addition of Enumerating Street Suffix. The draft, as well as the proposed Data Dictionary Definitions Revisions, will be reviewed by group members, and feedback should be provided directly on the worksheet. A voting period of 20 calendar days was approved for the move to virtual workgroup votes. Several motions were put forward, including new fields for CurrencyType, Disaster Relief, Delayed Marketing and a Half Duplex lookup addition to the PropertySubType field. The new fields, lookups and a data shape of the Additional Living Quarters Shape Proposal will be brought to a vote. | NOTES
Certification Subgroup | June 26, 2025
The group discussed some new certification policies, when to add Fast Track Subgroup suggested changes, weighing the importance of fixing bugs vs. adding new testing rules for certification and expiring RESO endorsements. | AGENDA
