The latest RESO Analytics update (v4.0.0) provides an upgrade across multiple aspects of RESO’s certification and analytics offerings.
- User guides and help screens add insights.
- Tool tips provide quick guidance to site functions.
- Six new virtual tours offer more product explanations.
Industry Alignment Report Update: Insights
Coverage Analysis: One of the best new features is the inclusion of Insights for Industry Alignment Reports. Insights includes four panels of information highlighting what is present and not found among the top 100 Data Dictionary and IDX fields and lookups.
It should be noted that there are legitimate cases where an organization may not need some of the fields/lookups in the top 100, but Insights provides a summary view for busy executives wanting to investigate further. Summaries will also be included in certification emails.
Interactive Drill-Down: Select individual data blocks to navigate to the Details section and view specific data elements in a sortable table.
Insights are a perfect starter section for working with RESO Analytics to help data providers and their customers better understand the coverage of their standard data elements, identify potential deviations from the standard and prioritize alignment efforts.
Market/Provider Alignment Reports Update: Summary Component
Provider Alignment Reports and Market Alignment Reports now show common elements between systems and markets (the Common button shown below) in addition to the data elements from all providers represented on the report, regardless of their commonality (the All button shown below).
- Provider Alignment Reports allow organizations, such as MLSs, to view the commonality of data elements between their different provider systems, or API services, providing an opportunity to make changes for a better, more consistent experience for data consumers.
- Market Alignment Reports show the alignment of data between multiple organizations in a marketplace, providing a detailed view of all data elements and their level of organizational overlap. Read more about Alignment Reports on the RESO website.
New Feature: Guided Tours
Easy-to-follow, interactive guided tours have been added to explain various items and actions on each page. Select the Take a Tour icon to get started.
Interface Enhancements: Updated Visuals and Help Content
- Consistent Colors: We have implemented a refreshed, consistent color scheme across RESO Analytics to enhance the readability of all diagrams and other graphics.
- Improved Details: Data Dictionary versions are now shown on the Venn diagram labels for alignment reports, and there is an icon that shows the status of Data Dictionary certification upon mouseover.
- Contextual Help: Detailed help documentation has been updated for each page, including Alignment Reports.
Security: Improved Authentication
- Data Providers: Providers submitting certification tests will need to download a new testing configuration file in the My Account section.
- Variations Service: This new authentication will also be used for access to the RESO Variations Service.
