David Gumpper

da.David Gumpper created the Gumpper Group as a real estate technology consulting firm and joined the WAV Group in January of 2018 as a Partner and President of Business Intelligence & Technology.
During David’s 24 years as a technologist, he has managed information technology platforms for the University of Dentistry and Medicine of New Jersey, Ricoh Corporation, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals before moving to Florida in 2003. David joined Michael Saunders & Company, Sarasota, Florida, in 2003 as Director of Information Technology to structure a customer-driven technology division. David later was named Chief Technology Officer by the company.
Since 2013 when David obtained his Florida real estate license, he has taken part in various committees and advisory boards with the National Association of Realtors®. Currently, David is a member of the NAR Leading Edge Advisory Board.
David has continued his contribution to the industry when appointed as a member of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s Marketing Technology Advisory Council in 2012. His contribution to this council lead to his appointment as vice-chairperson in 2015 and then as chairperson in February 2016.
In 2017, David took part as a member of the Real Estate Standards Organizations (RESO) Board of Directors. After a year on the board, David volunteered to chair the RESO Brokers Advisory Group for 2018.
David currently lives in Bradenton, FL with his wife Kelly. David’s one son, Ryan, is a research post-doctorate in chemistry at Unversity of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and his second son, Evan, is continuing his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida.
