About the RESO Broker Survey

Earlier this summer RESO launched, with the help of the WAV Group, a nationwide survey of Real Estate Brokers to learn more about the challenges that brokerages and their owners face with data management today. Through this survey, RESO was able to gather incredibly valuable insights and candid feedback about the challenges brokers deal with when trying to ingest and manage MLS data.

RESO is especially grateful for the help provided by RESO Ambassadors and their organizations who distributed a survey link to their brokerage clients, members and subscribers.

Below are the key findings of the first RESO Broker Survey and we hope our RESO Ambassadors will find this information enlightening and help us address the critical issues raised in this survey. While this was no means intended to be a scientific survey, we believe the finding are remarkably valuable as we received broad input from brokers across the U.S., brokerage firms that collectively represents more than 350,000 of real estate agents and brokers.

2016-2017 Strategic Tactics

  • Launch program to MLSs inviting them to promote RESO Compliance
  • Host webinars to introduce RESO to brokers and how it will benefit them
  • Expedite broker case studies
  • Create awareness campaign to brokers about value of RESO
  • Continue to recruit broker membership, encourage workgroup involvement and conference attendance
