SIMI VALLEY, Calif., October 4, 2017 – Rapattoni Corporation (Rapattoni) announced today that MetroList® Services, Inc. (MetroList) and the High Desert Association of REALTORS® (HDAOR) are the first two MLSs in the nation to achieve official Real Estate Standards Organization’s (RESO) Data Dictionary v1.6 Platinum certification. MetroList serves more than 19,000 members in Northern California and HDAOR currently serves approximately 2,200 members in San Bernardino County, California.
Rapattoni MLS is the first software platform in the country to implement the v1.6 Platinum version of the RESO Data Dictionary certification. The RESO Data Dictionary is known as the real estate industry’s “Rosetta Stone” as it standardizes real estate data so that it translates easily between MLSs, brokerages and software companies, allowing them to access data from different MLS systems in a standard format without having to create a unique mapping for each MLS.
Brian Tepfer, Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Rapattoni, said, “We are excited to be the first vendor to implement the Data Dictionary 1.6 standard at the Platinum level. MetroList partnered with us early on to become the first MLS in the industry to implement the RESO Data Dictionary standard and HDAOR was one of the first MLSs to achieve the 1.5 Platinum certification. Data standards are important not just for our customers, but for the industry as a whole. We are glad to be helping to drive the industry forward in this important effort.”
“Being among the first MLSs to achieve RESO Data Dictionary 1.6 Platinum Certification demonstrates MetroList’s commitment to advanced technology and setting the standard for accurate, state-of-the art data exchange protocols,” said Rick Trevino, Vice President, Information Technology, at MetroList. “We’re continuing our leadership position with Rapattoni to support the industry’s innovation in establishing cutting-edge MLS system standards across all platforms,” added Trevino.
“We are very excited that our High Desert Association of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service has achieved Platinum designation,” said Karen Sanchez, President of HDAOR. “Big thanks to our staff, our Realtor volunteers and Rapattoni, our MLS vendor, for their diligence and hard work. Our goal is to provide the most advanced level of service and technology to our members and to the High Desert population that we serve – this achievement helps us continue to meet this goal.”
“Watching MetroList Services, Inc., and the High Desert Association of REALTORS®, along with the hard work and assistance of their MLS technology partner Rapattoni, achieve the highest level of RESO Certification possible for the latest version of the Data Dictionary is truly a remarkable accomplishment,” said Jeremy Crawford, CEO at RESO. “The future of the real estate industry will be driven by the data standards that these leading organizations are implementing today, and it will fuel the innovation of future products and services for all brokers and agents on the Rapattoni MLS platform.”
